2024 Reserved Pit Spaces
Policy Statement
Coles County Dragway USA offers pit spaces for the convenience of our valued participants. Reserved pit spaces are mapped and numbered. Once reserved, spaces will be marked as reserved on the pit road and on the map below.
All spaces are at least 18’ wide and run perpendicular to the roadway, with the exception of spaces along the fence. (Fence spaces are wider due to the lack of length and the necessity to angle tow vehicles and trailers.) Pit spaces are located on the return roads with a majority (145 spaces) running west while the rest (30 spaces) run east (#92-120). Spaces #16-32 share the front overhang with spaces #92-98. Spaces #24-32 share the front overhang area with spaces #99-105. Spaces #33-46 share the front overhang with spaces #106-120. Spaces #47-91 and #141-166 are the longest at over 100ft.
Reserved pit parking spots will be in effect for all Summit ET Series events. Pricing is below.
Reserved pit spaces are good only on the following dates (Summit ET Series): April 27 & 28; May 11, 12 & 18; June 1, 8, 9, 15, 29 & 30; July 13, 14 & 20; August 3, 10, 11, 17, 18 & 24; September 7, 8, 28 & 29; October 5, 6, 12 & 19.
Paap Printing Friday Prep Track Fun Nights and Pre/Post season TnT are on a first-come first-served basis.
The holders of 2024 reserved pit spaces will be allowed early access (Thursday 5pm) to CCD Big $ Races on 27 Apr & 21-22 Sep to secure their spot.
Leaving Trailers On Site
Only reserved space holders may leave their trailers and tow rig for more than three days. Those who do so will have access to their trailer and tow rig, in most cases, 24hrs daily since we are on the premise, but we request at least 8-hours' notice so we can make sure someone is there to unlock the gate for you.
Trailers left on the premises must be moved out of a pit space at least every two weeks to help maintain grass. Anyone not following this movement policy will lose privileges to keep trailers at the track for the remainder of the year.
At no time is Coles County Dragway USA, LLC, Rodney/Danette Viehland responsible for trailers or their contents. Again, leaving a trailer or rig at the track is done at your own risk. Private insurance is highly recommended. Laris Motorsports Insurance, below, is just one example.

Motor homes and enclosed trailers are not permitted along the fence. There is NO PARKING south of the bleachers next to the finish line (just east & across from the ET Ticket Booth).
Reserved Pit Space Pricing
Pit space holders from the prior season have “first rental rights” for their respective spaces in the upcoming season. All such reserved pit spaces must be paid or postmarked by February 15th, 2024. All spots not paid by then will be considered "open" and will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.
Any Pit Space paid or postmarked after 10 March 2024 will be $200 each.
If paid by March 9th, 2024:
- $125 each for the first.
- $175 each for each additional.
